A child protection officer has died in Queensland after a child protection operation.

Police say they are also investigating the man’s movements on the day of the death.
The man was last seen leaving a property in the North West of the state on Thursday, but police say he did not return.
His family has received a police statement confirming he was the father of a minor.
The boy was found dead at the property on the North Western side of the State Border.
His mother and father are being questioned by police.
Police said they had received information that he had a history of violence and had a number of previous arrests.
The family has since been told that he died at home in the same circumstances as the other boys.
The NT Police confirmed they were investigating the boy for murder.
