Posted October 09, 2018 03:13:07 I am often asked why I do not use the Bible as my school guidance counselor.
There are a lot of things that make a great school guidance counsellor.
I like the fact that I do NOT have to take a Bible in and teach my students to study it.
The Bible is not an infallible guide, nor is it necessary.
There is a huge amount of literature on how to use the scriptures.
I do recommend the following books for guidance counselors: 1.
The Joy of Teaching: The Power of Reading The Bible: How to teach students how to read the Bible in a way that best suits their learning needs.
The Teaching of the Bible: From the Holy Bible to the New Testament.
The Holy Bible and the World: How the Bible is changing our understanding of the world.
The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments: How we learn from the Bible and use it to make the world a better place.
Teaching the Bible with Kids: Teaching the Scriptures with Kids and Kids and the Bible for Kids: Lessons for Parents.
Teaching Teaching the Scripture: How I teach teaching the Bible to my students.
Teaching of Bible: My own Bible.
The Book of Job: A Study of Job and the Gospel.
The Gospel of Matthew: How Jesus made us love Him more.
Teaching Bible: The Gospel Today: Lessons from the Gospel Today series.
The New Testament: How Paul used the Scriptures to teach his Christian faith.
The Early Christian Writings: A Guide to the Early Christian Scriptures.
The Old Testament: The Hebrew Bible and Its Early Church.
The Jewish Scriptures: A Comprehensive Guide to The Hebrew Scriptures.
The Pentateuch: A Complete History of the Hebrew Scriptures and the Pentateurs.
The Psalms: How Scripture is written in the Hebrew language.
The Song of Songs: How music is used to inspire and help us all.
The Wisdom of Solomon: The Wisdom in the Scriptures.
Teaching Teach the Bible, a book that teaches the Bible from the perspective of a teacher.
This book is available online from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other online retailers.
There you will find more than 20 of my best-selling books.
You can also order the eBook, The Wisdom, the Wisdom with My Students.
It includes a comprehensive curriculum to help students understand the wisdom of the Scriptures, and how to make it effective.
There will be a small fee to cover the cost of printing and mailing.
I am proud to be a part of the Wisdom for Teachers project.
My students love the Wisdom.
I love teaching this program because I think it helps them learn and grow.
