Reddit has partnered with job search site HackerOne to help employers find employees with mental health issues.
The company is also partnering with a mental health advocacy organization called Mindsick to provide training for mental health professionals.
This new program will be available to anyone who is eligible and will begin in early 2018.
In addition to training for job seekers who have a mental illness, Reddit also offers support for employers who are looking to hire employees with a specific mental health condition.
Users will be able to search through the site for job postings and then click on the “Find a job” link in the right-hand menu.
If a job posting does not have the appropriate job title, it will be flagged as an “unavailable” and the search will be turned off.
This will allow employers to be proactive in their hiring process, as they will no longer need to manually flag job listings that contain the word “mentally ill.”
The company says it has also developed a job search tool for people with a diagnosis of mental illness.
Users can search for jobs on Reddit and HackerOne and the company says the tool will help people find a job in a variety of fields, including education, health, media, tech, government, and more.
